the Vidal Sassoon Academy's core art team. At Sassoon, Mitzi was schooled in the
"less is more" philosophy as she explored the utilization of geometric shapes, simplicity, color theory and functional elegance themes that would become the foundation of her design philosophy.
With a fifth-generation master shoemaker, Mauricio Orzorio, as her mentor, Mitzi next added handcrafted shoe design to her portfolio. When Mitzi extended her leatherwork into handbags the Mitzi Baker Handbags collection was born.
